I sanded the cabinet door just enough to get rid of any obvious bumps and filled in the hole left by the existing knob. I added a few coats of Rustoleum Heirloom White spray paint, and once it was dry, I distressed the edges a bit with fine sandpaper. Then I painted on a coat of Ralph Lauren Glaze and quickly wiped it off. The glazed soaked into the distressed edges and darkened the white paint, giving it a bit of a vintage feel that I love. I would actually love to do my kitchen cabinets like this.
Hoodies are in place and Luke loves it … and he can easily hang his things without help and without piles of broken hangers.

I have a cabinet door that is stitting in the garage waiting for me to do the same thing…. I could not decide if I wanted to keep if for the main house… but putting in my sons room like you did is a really good idea!
