Instead of wrapping the candy canes with yarn like the original idea, I used brown pipecleaners. It made the whole process really quick and simple.
We took a snack to share: popcorn served in reindeer cones {inspiration found here}. The edible eyes make them look a bit shell-shocked, don’t they?
And I wrapped Tate’s book for the book exchange in a little reindeer gift bag {inspiration found here}.
These reindeer ideas were all so quick and simple to make, and although Tate didn’t play with one single friend at her party {my only explanation: she’s three}, she was happy to bring her “rootbeer” treats.

what did you use to attach the eyes on the popcorn thingys and what is the nose ???? love ! this is so cute I think I want to make for y daughters class next week!!!! thanks

I used a bit of melted chocolate to attach the eyes and the nose … the nose is a red peanut M&M.
