Quirk Books provided me with a copy of Pom-Poms! but all opinions are my own.
I love the pom pom trend so I was excited when I found this book in my mailbox: Pom-Poms! 25 Awesomely Fluffy Projects. A whole book devoted to pom poms? How fun is that?
This colorful book shares a few different techniques for making pom poms {like the fork technique I keep seeing on pinterest} as well as some really fun ideas for materials {cellophane and grocery bags} and then uses those fluffy balls in a pile of unique projects.
I’m now completely inspired to use pom poms in my home decor {I love that pillow!} …
… and I love this simple gift wrap idea. I suspect there will be a lot of pom poms under my Christmas tree this year.
One of the ideas I loved was to attach a small pom pom to a straw. I had to borrow this idea for Tate’s birthday party!
Each polka dot straw is now sporting a fluffy little pom pom!
It’s such a cute way to add softness and texture to the table and it took very little time to make enough pom poms for all the straws. It’s one of my favorite details at Tate’s painting party!

I love me some pom-poms. Might need to get my hands on a copy 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Randi!! xo
Oh my gosh – those pom pom hedgehogs are adorable!! Your pom pom straws are so cute!
At first, I thought “oh no”. But when I saw the pillow and the thingys in the vase I can see the attraction. Pretty.
