This post is brought to you courtesy of Hillshire Farm® but all the opinions and content are mine.

Quick and easy weeknight meals are my favorite … and the less dishes they use, the better. Right? This one skillet spicy sausage jambalaya is not only simple to make but it’s absolutely delicious … and it tastes like you’ve spent all day slaving over the stove. It’ll be our little secret that this dinner can be whipped up in about 30 minutes and only uses one pan!

To make this meal, grab the ingredients at Target. The main protein in this dinner is Hillshire Farm® Smoked Turkey Sausage. You can find it in the refrigerated meat section and use the CARTWHEEL APP to save 20% off any Hillshire Farm® smoked sausage.

You’ll also need 2 tablespoons olive oil, an onion, a red pepper, a green pepper, two celery stalks, two garlic cloves, 28 ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice, 3 cups chicken stock, and 1-2 teaspoons creole seasoning.

Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside.

Chop the onion, red pepper, green pepper and celery and cook them with the minced garlic cloves in 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat until tender.

Add the chicken stock, tomatoes, uncooked rice, and creole seasoning {1 teaspoon for a mild spice flavor and 2 teaspoons for a stronger spice flavor}, stir well, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 25 minutes or until the rice is cooked. Stir the sausage back into the jambalaya, heat through, and serve.
