I love leaving a little May Day basket hanging on a neighbor’s door handle.  What better way to begin the day than to find some unexpected flowers?  We’ve delivered baskets a number of times and continued the tradition today.

Did you leave or find any baskets today?

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

The flowers are lovely! The only basket I found was one of the kids Easter basket they left in the “war fort” (under the big spruce tree in the front yard) all winter. I was looking for it before Easter. At least the snow has melted!

I’m so glad to see someone else doing May Baskets. We did them when I was growing up in Wyoming but I live in Utah now and people around me have never heard of the tradition. It is such a wonderful surprise to leave these for friends. I love your coordination with the flowers, pail and cute card. Found you on Tip Junkie, now following.
