How to Set Up a College Apartment

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot. The opinions and text are all mine.

I can’t believe it’s time for the kids to head back to class … and that’s taking all kinds of different formats this year!  My daughter is entering her final year of college and she’s moving into a new apartment with only one roomie instead of four.  That means we had to stock up all over again and make sure her off-campus college apartment is fully equipped … and this year it feels even more important since she’ll be spending more time at home than normal!

Did you know you can shop for back to class items on The Home Depot website?  From small items like coffee makers and sheets to large items like beds and love seats, The Home Depot makes it easy to get everything you need for college move-in day!  Kennedy and I went on The Home Depot website and ordered everything she wanted.

The boxes were delivered right to our door.  With the world in a crazy state, that kind of shopping ease is right up my alley!  Their exclusive brands provide a comprehensive assortment of on trend collections and new products, and the best part is that you get flexible delivery and easy in-store or online returns!

Delivery is free on select purchases over $45 and returns can be made both in the store and online for free.

Because some of the household items left with the other roommates, Kennedy needed a mix of things; practical and decorative.

We bought practical products like a coffee maker and a trash can, and decorative items like floor poufs and trays.  The Home Depot offers exclusive brands and on-trend collections at everyday low prices, making it a superior retailer in the big box space.

One of the things we really liked about shopping at The Home Depot was the variety.  I’m at The Home Depot all the time for DIY projects around the house, but I had no idea we could get so many college must-haves there as well.

Since Kennedy’s in her final year of college, she wanted decorative items that she can continue to use after graduation.  We were really happy with both the selection, the value, and the quality {every purchase is backed with 100% satisfaction guarantee}.  She’ll be able to use everything now and take it with her into the real world when her college days are over.

Finding her own style is one of the fun parts of being on her own and The Home Depot has products for every style.  All those curated pinterest boards are coming to fruition in Kennedy’s apartment this fall {wink}.

We’ll be packing up the car and hitting the road in a couple of weeks to move Kennedy back to college and since she’ll be studying virtually this fall, I’m even more excited about the cute apartment she’ll be setting up.  She needs a sweet, relaxing spot in her busy days.
