This cute little home for the holidays cocoa gift is fun to make and it would even be a great project to do with the kids!  Set up an assembly line and turn it into a family project!

To start, you’ll need square glass ornaments from the craft store.  I used a couple of different types, one that was flat and one that was a cube.  Both are equally cute.

Fill them up with storebought or homemade cocoa.  If you want to use homemade cocoa, my hot chocolate recipe is easy and it’s the best {just speaking the truth}!

Once they’re filled, replace the tops and start embellishing.  I used patterned scrapbook paper and my cutting machine to cut the different house features but you could also simplify it and cut them by hand.

I added a door with a cute little wreath …

… and scalloped roofs.

A bit of colorful yarn on top finished them off.

See?  I told you they were simple!  You can make a whole batch for the neighborhood in no time at all!
