This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Butterball Every Day. All opinions are 100% mine.

Our family calendar requires a spreadsheet to figure out who’s going where at what time and when.  With five kids, every night is busy and right now, there isn’t one free evening.  Even with a busy schedule, it’s important to me that we have home-cooked meals as often as possible.  That means I’m always looking for recipes that are quick, easy, and wholesome.  These grilled teriyaki sausage kebabs fit the bill and they’re delicious!  I’ve already had requests to make them again!

These sausage kebabs start with Butterball Turkey Dinner Sausage.  This sausage comes in a variety of flavors, is made with 100% turkey, has 60% less fat than beef or pork sausage, and is a wholesome, flavorful choice.

To make the kebabs, slice the turkey sausage into one-inch pieces and chop green pepper, onion, and pineapple {canned pineapple chunks also work great}.  The only other thing you’ll need is teriyaki sauce.  Storebought is perfect unless you have a homemade recipe that you love.

Thread the ingredients onto skewers, alternating the ingredients as you desire.  If you’re using wooden skewers, be sure you soak them for at least an hour before you use them so they won’t burn when they hit the grill.

Place the skewers onto a grill set at medium heat and baste with the teriyaki sauce.  Cook for about five minutes then turn the skewers, baste again, and cook on the other side until the sausage and other ingredients are heated through.

Remove the skewers, serve with a side of rice and extra teriyaki sauce if desired, and enjoy!

Sounds yummy!! Ironically, as I’m reading your post, the kids and I are eating breakfast: turkey sausage, toast, and cantaloupe.
