Goat Cheese Fondue Recipe

A few weeks ago I ate a delicious goat cheese fondue at one of my favorite restaurants {the same restaurant that uses these fun branded cardboard coasters} and this weekend I recreated my version of the recipe at home.  This savory appetizer is easy, delicious, and the perfect starter to a meal or a great addition to an evening happy hour.  If you love the flavor of goat cheese, this recipe will become a favorite!

To make this goat cheese fondue, you’ll need

a goat cheese log {4-8 ounces}

1 fresh roma tomato

1/4 cup pitted kalamata olives

1/4 cup olive oil

1 sprig of fresh rosemary

freshly ground pepper

goat cheese fondue ingredients

Place 4 ounces of goat cheese in the center of a small baking dish, using the back of a spoon to spread it slightly and break it down.  Slice 1/4 cup of kalamata olives and place them on one side of the dish.  Dice a few slices {1/4 cup or less} of fresh tomato and place it on the opposite side.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh rosemary and freshly ground pepper to taste then bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until the goat cheese has melted and the olive oil is bubbly.

    Whiskey cake! I’ve been craving it since I moved. I used to work there, they use thyme, not rosemary,but good guess!
