This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Jel Sert for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Fla-Vor-Ice {or freezies, as I always called them}.  I remember eating them at my friend’s house when I was young … they felt like such a treat.

And now that I’m grown up with kids of my own, I still love them … and so do my kids.  They’re the perfect cold treat during our hot Texas summers and a simple way to provide a great-tasting treat {with no allergens} for the pile of neighborhood kids that seem to collect in my yard.

Everyone has their favorite flavor {my kids like them all} and I love to divide them up like a rainbow.  The colors look so festive divided among ice-filled matching buckets {found at party stores} …

… and a Fla-Vor-Ice rainbow buffet makes any ordinary afternoon feel like a party!

Set up the sprinkler, grab some towels …

… and let the kids enjoy summer!

We’re even packing up a few boxes to take on our beach vacation this summer.  We’ll freeze them when we get to our destination and the kids can have a refreshing, fat-free snack every afternoon.  My kids smile when we break out the Fla-Vor-Ice box!

Remember I mentioned that I’ve been eating Fla-Vor-Ice for-almost-ever?  Well, here’s the proof.  My best friend and I sat on the couch in my first apartment and ate almost an entire box.

blast from the past

Crazy, right?  But guess what?  Right now {through August 20th}, Fla-Vor-Ice has a sweepstakes that celebrates those blasts from the past!  To enter, “like” the Fla-Vor-Ice facebook page …

… and click on the Fla-Vor-Ice Flashback Sweepstakes tab at the top.  Click the “enter to win” button, fill in your name and email address …

… then leave a post with your #TBT memory.  Five weekly winners will win a box of Fla-Vor-Ice, three random winners will win a $50 Visa gift card, and one grand prize winner will win a year’s supply of Fla-Vor-Ice!

Just one question: if you win, will you promise to share?

How fun is that flashback photo!? Too awesome. Those are a favorite in our house too – we go through them so quick! I love the rainbow set up you did too. 🙂
