Can you tell I’m in Easter mode this week? And last minute Easter mode, at that. I love finding creating simple projects that make holidays feel festive and fun and creative special moments for my kids. These Easter straw toppers are so quick to make but they’ll make the Easter tablescape a bit more fun!
To make them, you’ll need paper straws, white or pink cardstock {depending on the color you want your bunny}, and white pom poms, about half an inch in diameter. {I used handmade pom poms made from white yarn but storebought fluffy pom poms will work perfectly too}.
Using a cutting machine or a bunny template you can find online, cut one bunny shape for each straw from cardstock.
Using hot glue, attach the bunny to a straw …
… and glue on a pom pom tail.
These little Easter straw toppers will add a fun and whimsical touch to the Easter table …
… and leave the kids with some special holiday memories!
