15+ Clever Ways to Use Cinder Blocks

When I was young, we had a cinder block and wood plank shelf in our basement, holding books against the wall.  It wasn’t trendy, it was cheap … and I knew lots of people that had them {hello 70’s}.  Cinder blocks have come a long way since then and they’re now being used to create some really fabulous DIY projects, from trendy furniture to unique planters.  I’m smitten with this collection of clever ways to use cinder blocks and I may have to come up with my own cinder block projects for our home!

Not complaining — thought you’d want to know —

Several of the links for projects for cinder blocks on this page don’t work.

Also, could you use darker print than the pale blue. It doesn’t contrast with the background very well, and it’s kind of hard to read.

I only found one link that wasn’t working and it’s corrected now. If you notice any others, please let me know … I appreciate it!

The blue is used for anything that has a link associated. I’ll look into making it more bold.
