Coffee is right near the top of my list of favorites … and it’s definitely my favorite drink!  I love experimenting with different flavors and recipes and this caramel hazelnut macchiato coffee recipe was too good not to share!  I make mine using my espresso machine but if you don’t have an espresso machine, strongly brewed coffee works just fine!

To make this delicious drink, you’ll need

a double shot of hot brewed espresso {or very strong coffee}

1/4 cup milk {whole milk, fat free, or anything in between works great}

1 tablespoon hazelnut syrup

1 tablespoon caramel syrup

whipped cream

caramel sauce for drizzling and

sea salt, if desired.

Pour the brewed espresso or strong coffee into a large mug.  Stir in the caramel syrup and hazelnut syrup.

Froth the milk using the frother on your espresso machine or warm the milk in the microwave and then froth it with a hand frother {affiliate link}.  Pour the warm, frothed milk over the espresso.

Add whipped cream over top, drizzle with caramel syrup, and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.  The sea salt is optional but adds a delightful surprise to the tastebuds.

This delicious macchiato coffee drink is a sweet and rich combination that’s just right for perking you up on those weary days!

    those coffee drinks are lost on me. I just want caffeine in the morning to wake me up. But if a fancy coffee does the trick for you then go for it.

      I usually buy them from grocery stores and World Market. If you look in the coffee aisle of most grocery stores, you’ll be able to find them.

    thank You so much for the dog recipes. My dog was chewing his front paws and finally realized the cause was the treats I bought him. I thought they were of good quality. When I started making him treat’s in time the chewing stopped. so this really matters.
