Candy Cane Playdough

Tate went to her playgroup Christmas party yesterday and took a little favor to share with her friends: candy cane playdough.

I followed these instructions to make it and packaged it simply in mason jars with cupcake wrappers and ribbon.

The peppermint essential oil makes the playdough smell almost good enough to eat … and it smells just like Christmas.  Tate will have lots of fun with this dough over the next few weeks.

What a fabulous idea! Just the other day I was looking for a simple solution to jar toppers and this is my new go-to! Got here from Dragonfly Designs and I’m thrilled to be your newest follower- hope to stay in touch 🙂

These look so sweet. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the recipe – I didn’t realize it was so easy to make playdough. My son will love making it and the jars look more than good enough to give as little gifts. Cool.
    Thanks, Chloe,
