When March rolls around and it seems like winter has been put away for another year {fingers crossed}, I start getting so excited about all that comes with spring.  The fresh flowers, bright green buds on the trees, warm breezes, and lots of opportunities to bring spring inside with fresh seasonal scents!

I have three simple and foolproof ways to bring the scent of spring inside.

Welcome Fresh Air

My new house has screen doors on the front and back and I love to swing open the heavy doors and let a breeze blow through our home.  Living in Texas, the screen door season is short-lived and I definitely enjoy it while I can!

Bring Fresh Flowers Inside

I love being able to cut fresh flowers from the garden but I’m equally happy with a grocery store bouquet placed in a mason jar or a cute cup from the thrift store.  I’ll even happily take a few weeds my kiddos grabbed at the park.  Dandelions are almost as happy as daffodils in my eyes {wink}.

Use Fresh Scents for Spring Cleaning

I’m a huge fan of candles and scented items and I love pretty scents for house cleaning.  Mrs. Meyer’s spring seasonal scents make it so easy to invite a little spring into your home … and get some spring cleaning done as well!

This year, Mrs. Meyer’s is featuring three limited-edition scents for spring: mint, peony, and lilac.  Aren’t those the perfect scents for the season?

Existing customers will get free Grove walnut scrubber sponges, which are perfect for all your spring cleaning.

I couldn’t wait to try Mrs. Meyer’s new spring scent, mint.  It’s their first new limited-edition scent in two years, and it doesn’t disappoint!  The scent is sweet and refreshing, but light enough that it doesn’t leave any fragrance behind on your dishes.  Just breathing in that sweet scent made me so ready to plant a big pot of mint on my patio!

This awesome deal would make a great Mother’s Day gift … you could even wrap it all up in the spring kitchen towel for a cute DIY twist on gift wrap!
