A Spa Party with #NIVEAmoments

You know I love hosting parties and I love a theme to work with.  This week I had the chance to host a spa party for my friends!  It was a great way to pamper my friends a bit before the rush of the holiday season begins.  We’re all busy moms and sometimes it’s really nice to sit down, have some adult conversation, and relax.
After shopping at Sam’s Club for the goodies, I had a great time preparing for the evening.  I dug out my new thrifted dispenser and embellished it with a washi tape garland in serene spa colors …

… then added washi tape tags to clear wine glasses.  The washi tape tags served as a nametag to avoid cup confusion.

I added some spa style rocks and green and blue glass marbles to the buffet as well.

I chose food that worked with a healthy, spa theme: citrus infused water …

… and fresh vegetables with dip.

I knew my friends would spend more time talking and less time ‘doing’ so I kept the spa activities simple.
I set up a small manicure station with an exfoliating scrub, NIVEA lotion, and nailpolish.  We relaxed our tired hands and softened our dry skin with the lotion.  We all agreed that NIVEA would be perfect for applying to our tired feet before bed.  I’m thinking it might do wonders for my calloused heels.

It was a fun evening spent with the girls {and I’ve forgiven my friends that ditched me for a Twilight party [smile]}.

We wrapped up the evening with a little take-home treat: NIVEA lotion party favors to keep the pampering going.

What a fun idea. I love all your spa details and decor – the yummy food, the infused water…and of course washi tape accents. Lucky ladies!
