A Day of Sunshine Party Favor {with a Printable}

{I recently shared this fun printable at Summer in Bloom and I wanted to reshare it here for those that missed it.}

Summer makes me think of sunshine and today I’m sharing a super simple project that can be used as a party favor, a simple gift for a friend, or even a back to school treat for classmates: a day of sunshine party favor.  And to make it super easy for you, I’ve included a free printable.

To make this simple favor, you’ll need a long package of candy.  I found these lemonheads at our big box drugstore but if you can’t find something similar, you could use a package of Starbursts or even a long tube of Sprees.  Anything that can accommodate a long label.  {Just try to choose something yellow or bright so the sunshine idea fits.}  You’ll also need some washi tape, rectangular labels or plain paper, and some yarn or ribbon.

Start with your package of candy and remove any extra labels.

Download the printable {sunshine labels} and stick it to the candy.  If you aren’t using labels, print it onto a sheet of paper, cut it out, and glue it onto the treat.

Add a little washi tape and some yarn or ribbon just to give it a little texture and visual appeal.

Simple as can be.  Now all you have to do is share the treat with friends!  Who doesn’t love to get a little surprise dose of sunshine?
