These delicious deli roll-ups are part of a sponsored post for Alpine Lace.

In our family of seven, the calendar is often full and our days are spent juggling school, homework, sports practices, games, and family time.  I love sharing in my kids’ activities and I love having an easy, delicious snack that can be eaten quickly while on the move but will keep us fueled with some protein and energy.  These deli roll-ups are the perfect snacks for busy lives!

deli roll-ups

They’re made with Alpine Lace Swiss Deli Cheese {found prepackaged or freshly sliced in the deli}, cheese made with quality ingredients.

Alpine Lace Swiss Deli Cheese is a great source of calcium and protein with 25% reduced fat so I feel good about feeding it to my family and good about eating it myself.

To make these simple deli roll-ups, all you need is the reduced fat cheese, black forest ham {or any other deli meat}, and dill pickle spears.

Layer the ham and cheese, place a pickle in the middle …

… and roll them up.  You can add a toothpick if needed to hold them together.  That’s it: an easy, healthy balanced snack idea for busy lives … and loved by kids and grown-ups alike!

These cheesy snacks keep us fueled up so we can enjoy other life ingredients: long conversations, lots of laughter, and time spent hanging out together, the ingredients for my daily allowance of happiness.

I love little snacks like this for spring picnics in the park with my son. So simple meat, cheese and of course pickles! This makes me want to plan a picnic for next week if the weather is still warm. Crossing my fingers.

I love Alpine Lace! This is such a perfect healthy snack or light lunch. My doctor is insisting that I go wheat-free, so this post is particularly timely and much appreciated! I’ll be shopping for the ingredients today!
