I received a copy of this cookbook in exchange for a review.  All opinions are my own.

I’ve spent the last week poring over a wonderful new cookbook, Texas Chef Jon Bonnell’s Waters: Fine Coastal Cuisine.

Jon Bonnell's Waters

This beautiful cookbook, released at the first anniversary of Chef Bonnell’s seafood restaurant {also called Waters and located in Fort Worth, Texas}, is a wonderful collection of fish and seafood recipes grouped by cooking techniques.

The photographs are beautiful and will make your mouth water as you read through the pages.  The variety of recipes all sound delicious and Chef Bonnell uses his vast fish and seafood knowledge to share unique recipes with a variety of fish types, some that are completely new to me.  I’d love to cook my way through the entire book and experiment with new flavors.

To christen this book’s arrival in my kitchen, I made a shrimp dish that looked amazing on the cookbook pages: New Orleans-Style Barbecued Shrimp.  This bold, peppery recipe is delicious … and French bread is a must for dipping in the sauce!

And guess what?  Chef Bonnell is kindly allowing me to share this recipe with you!  Click on this link for a printable version of the recipe: New Orleans-Style Barbecued Shrimp Recipe.

To try the other mouth-watering recipes in Chef Bonnell’s cookbook, buy your copy on the Waters website, at Central Market Grocers in Texas, or Barnes and Noble {online and in-store} nationwide.  And enjoy!
