I love cranberries.  I love the color, I love the flavor, I love the juice, and I love using them to decorate during the winter months and Christmas season.  If you need some inspiration for new {inedible} ways to use cranberries, you’ve come to the right place!  These ideas are sure to inspire and sure to add some gorgeous natural color to your winter decor!

ways to use cranberries

You could make a cranberry topiary in a rustic terracotta pot.

Or a cranberry tree nestled among evergreens.

You could freeze them in water and use cranberry ice chips to chill a bottle of wine or champagne.  {Doesn’t that look fabulous and festive?}

You could string them together and hang a cranberry garland on your Christmas tree or over the mantel.

Stick them in a cute dish and use them as place cards.

Make a cranberry centerpiece for your holiday gathering.

cranberry vases

Fill vases with cranberries and water and add floating candles.

Make a cranberry wreath.

Or chill things up with a beautiful frozen cranberry wreath.

Hang a cranberry ornament on the tree.

Or use cranberries to brighten up a bouquet.

Don’t those ideas make you want to run to the store for a bag of fresh cranberries?  My house guests may be seeing a lot of cranberries this winter!  Which of these ideas are your favorite ways to use cranberries?

    Love all the ideas, but I’m wondering how long the cranberries stay fresh and colorful.

      Cranberries will stay fresh in room air for a LONG time. I’ve had them on display for well over a month before with no change at all.

      I think they’d work fine! I’d thaw the cranberries and then dry them off with paper towels … you don’t want extra moisture to cause them to mold. Sounds like you’ll be having a very cranberry Christmas! 😉
