Today marks one hundred days until the due date of Baby Five. My friend, Emily, recently made a baby countdown chain for her daughter, and then I saw the same idea in an old issue of FamilyFun. I thought the idea was so neat and a great way to help the little ones have something tangible and visible as we slowly approach the due date.

When all those pink circles are gone, Baby should be here (and not a moment before, I hope).
I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

Still 100 days!!! That seems long but short! That’s a good way for the little ones to know how long it is…. So they don’t keep asking when is it?

Love the paper – so girly! Your kids look way excited to have a baby sister! I can’t wait to hold her.

One of my flight nurses does the same thing to count down the days until winter is over (she HATES winter!). She goes on the internet and finds interesting tidbits about each day and writes those things on the paper as she makes the chain. We hang the chain around the ceiling in the crew office.Every morning at report, the crew on duty tears off the day’s link. Makes the time…fly!
