Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week.  Have you planned anything fun at your school?  I’ve got kids at three different schools and there are lots of festivities going on.  If you’re still floundering for teacher appreciation ideas, I’ve got ten thoughtful {handmade} ideas for you.

Mason jars are all the rage so who wouldn’t love to get a jar filled with something fun?  And there’s a cute printable tag {with a few variations} so your jars can look as cute as these!

This stuffed oven mitt idea is so cute.  A brightly colored or patterned oven mitt filled with school supplies would make a fun gift … and the tag is perfect: I have to ad-MITT you’re a great teacher!  This would be such a cute idea for a Skills for Living or Home Ec teacher!

This simple gift was initially given as a gift to PTO members but it would work equally well for teachers.  The gift of thyme in a decorated pot is simple {and cheap} to throw together for a whole group of teachers … maybe as favors at a teacher luncheon.  This help me grow teacher gift and help me grow gift card holder are also so cute!

I love this polka dot tote with its cute printable.  If you have time, you could make or embellish your own tote or just buy a cute one.  I love giving gifts that are practical and what teacher can’t use an extra tote bag?

An endless cookie jar is a fun way to celebrate an entire teacher appreciation week.  Parent volunteers can bring cookies to fill the jar every day, giving teachers an endless supply of goodies.

These summer cups with a drink mix and a printable tag make a colorful and practical gift, especially with the summer months coming.  You could also include a gift card for Sonic or another drink place so teachers can continue to refill the cup once the drink mixes have been used.

Make your teacher a washi tape dry erase board for the classroom!  This gift is quick to make with a dollar store frame and some cute washi tape and teachers can use it on their desks or at work stations.  It’s also simple enough for kids to help make it.

How about giving a pretty cup along with a coaster made from pencils?  I think this idea is just adorable and especially cute if you use pretty patterned pencils.  Check the dollar store or dollar spot for fun pencils.

I don’t know any teacher that doesn’t love a gift card … delivering it in an embellished gift card holder makes it even better.  This gift card holder is simply an upcycled and embellished mint tin.  {I need to remember this idea at Christmas!}

And if you’re short on time, deliver a tray of storebought cookies topped with a simple smart cookies label.  It doesn’t get easier than that.

I’d love to hear your teacher appreciation ideas … and check these out if you need more cute free teacher appreciation printables!   What teacher has been the highlight of your year?
