Remember our little playhouse?  Tate has hit an age where she really loves to play in it.  The three younger kids will all play in there, digging away in the dirt floor.  One day I’m certain I’ll go in and they’ll have dug a tunnel halfway through the neighborhood.

I love adding fun little touches to the house.  You might remember that the house got a doorbell and a little wall vinyl.

Last week it also got a mailbox.

I found some cute little mailboxes in the Dollar Spot at Target around Valentine’s Day.  They were the perfect size for our little house.  I screwed one end right onto the house and left the other end open.

The kiddos are so pleased with their mailbox and little letters have been delivered already.

Next playhouse project? Maybe a little window box full of flowers.

That is so cute! I might need to spruce up the kids play house for Elisha and Sophia.

ps. Victor says to me, “You are so lucky. You have another letter from the Duke and Duchess.” We love William and Kate in this house! 🙂

Some of my fondest memories are of playing school, or house, in the next door neighbors playhouse. They had 6 kids in their family so I went over there a lot. We have a playhouse that is ready for an over haul just holding junk right now. But it has a window box. I took a metal bin, put fake flowers in it and a watering can tilted like it’s watering the flowers. But I think you should have real flowers so your daughter can water them.
