Happy May Day! Did you give or receive any flowers today?
I love the tradition of placing May Day baskets on our neighbor’s door handles. This year I kept it really simple and placed flowers in washi-tape-wrapped paper bags.
… then cut each of the bags along the line.
I folded the top part of the bag down a few inches and cut into the bag, following the lines of the bag and handle top.
This gave me a big open handle with a window for the flowers to peek through.
I wrapped the bags with strips of washi tape and filled them with flowers. It couldn’t get much simpler, huh?
Kennedy hung them on doors early this morning.
I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!
