Last week, I made a special valentine treat for Tate: vanilla wafer hearts with strawberry milk. Now I know it might be a stretch to say these look like hearts but when you’re three, anything pink and heart-ish is perfect!
All you need to make these are vanilla wafers and candy melts {I had pink candy melts left over from the doll vanilla wafers we served at Tate’s party but red would be really cute too.}
Melt the candy according to the package directions and dip one side of each wafer into the melted candy. Place the vanilla wafers on wax paper and pop them into the fridge or freezer until they’re hard. Then repeat, dipping the other side into the candy melt.
Serving them with pink strawberry milk and a crocheted doily is optional …
… but this little one loved it!
