Three Musketeers Bundt Cake

Yesterday was Eli’s fifteenth birthday.  I really can’t believe he’s fifteen.  It makes me cringe a bit because I feel like my time left with him in the house is running so short … and I really can’t stand the thought of him leaving.  He’s one of the most amazing young men I’ve ever met.

To celebrate, I made him a Three Musketeers bundt cake.

Three Musketeers bundt cake

This is a semi-homemade recipe.  I used mixes, added a few things {like a pile of chopped Three Musketeers bars}, and the result was delicious.

To make the cake, I  mixed together a package of devil’s food cake mix, a package of chocolate pudding, four eggs, one cup of water, and a third cup of oil.  I poured half the batter into a bundt pan, spread chopped Three Musketeers candy bars over the batter {I used three of them}, and covered it with the remainder of the batter.  I baked it in a bundt pan at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until it was done.  {Note: the candy bars melt during the baking process but they infuse a great flavor into the cake.}

For the frosting, I mixed together Cool Whip Frosting and half of a small container of marshmallow creme.  I piped it over the top of the cake.

It was a delicious cake and the frosting was amazing!

So amazing that I think I’ll go eat a piece of the leftovers.  Enjoy!

    Is is healthy right because three musketeers has less calories. How yummy! What you said about your boy at the top – strikes a chord with me. Mine is only 11 but already feeling that way.
