Not that kind of birthday suit.

I just finished the little outfit Tate will wear for her first birthday party.

The birthday suit
A simple applique on her shirt …

The birthday suit
… and a ruffly skirt (inspired by this).

The birthday suit
A raggy-edged bib will be worn during the cake eating.

The birthday suit

There’s a hat too (it’s the pièce de résistance) but it’s not finished yet.

Can’t believe my little munchkin will soon be one.

Adorable! Are you able to wash the skirt in the washer/dryer or do you need to hand wash it?
