12 Creative Spider Treats and Crafts for Halloween

Last year, our playgroup celebrated Halloween with an Itsy Bitsy Spider party.  Although I hate spiders in real life, I’m kind of partial to them at Halloween and I love all the fun spider ideas I’ve seen.  If you’re planning a Halloween party, here are some fun spider treats and crafts to add to your event!  And if you don’t have a party planned, add some spiders to your Halloween decor!

spider treats and crafts

You could crochet a big spider web {E Strea Chikitu}, cut a spider garland {Country Living}, or serve a meal on top of a spiderweb placemat {Woman’s Day}.

Chocolate peanut butter spiders {Hershey’s} are a sweet and spooky snack and perfect when served on spider party plates {Lisa Storms}.

Spider ice cubes {Fahrenheit 350} would make a creepy surprise in your party drink and just have to be served alongside a plate of these spider infested chocolate chip cookies {Hungry Happenings}.

Let the kids collect their treats in glow in the dark spider web treat bags {The Purl Bee} or spend some time crafting a handful of adorable bottle cap spiders {Live.Laugh.Rowe}.

A spider web grill rack {Petticoat Junktion} is brilliant repurposed Halloween decor!

And at least one of my girls has to wear this silly spider hairdo {Simple As That} on Halloween!

Which one of these spiders treats and crafts is your favorite?  Do you have any fun spider crafts to share?  Share them with us on the Dukes and Duchesses facebook page!
