This Six Flags Over Texas printable scavenger hunt was created as part of a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I look forward to summer break for months: later mornings, lazier days, and extra time with the kids. We often create a bucket list of places we want to visit and things we want to do in order to optimize the summer days and ensure a fun break. We go to a few parks, we visit a few splash pads, we eat donuts for breakfast, and we love to spend some time at Six Flags Over Texas! This year I created a printable scavenger hunt to add a fun dimension to our visit … and provide a challenge for my very competitive kiddos!
We’re lucky enough to live just a short distance from Six Flags Over Texas and it’s the perfect place for our whole family to have fun together!
With five kids and an age span of twelve years, it isn’t always easy to find something that’s fun for both the older kids and the younger ones but Six Flags Over Texas is a blast for all of us! The thrill seekers can get the ultimate thrills on roller coasters and spinning rides and the rest of us can enjoy a bit of a slower pace {wink}.
This year we took along this printable scavenger hunt to add a little twist to our day and challenge some of us that aren’t quite as thrill-seeking as others. I didn’t get everything checked off my list but I did have a blast and even forced myself to get a little out of my comfort zone.
Two of my girls, on the other hand, completed their lists and one of my girls told me it was “the best day ever”. She loved the twists and turns and soaring heights of the roller coasters …
… loved the unexpected drops …
… and had a blast on the newest ride, Harley Quinn Spinsanity.
We all loved getting wet on a few of the rides and discovered that Six Flags Over Texas is the “coolest” place in North Texas … even on a really hot summer day! We cooled off on some of the water rides, hung out under the misters that are placed throughout the park, and spent some time on a couple of darker, air-conditioned rides {Yosemite Sam’s Gold River Adventure and Runaway Mountain} when it got really hot.
Six Flags Over Texas is one of our favorite places to hang out and my kids can’t wait to go back!
Are you a thrill seeker? What’s your favorite thing about Six Flags Over Texas?
