Silhouette love

My Silhouette arrived today {I was giddy when that Fed Ex truck drove up} and I couldn’t wait to tackle my first project.  The blades were cutting within hours of arrival.
Elijah’s having a birthday party next Friday to celebrate turning thirteen.  He didn’t want a party last year but decided it would be fun to have one this year, provided he came up with a cool theme (and he did), a good color scheme (chocolate brown and aqua), and I didn’t plan anything unworthy of a teenager.

The cupcakes (which will be decorated very simply, in suitable teenager fashion) will be clad in these wrappers, cut on my Silhouette.  Aren’t they fun?

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!
