Set :: The Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving preparations are well under way.  The turkey is brining, pies are baked, and prep work is complete for the side dishes.  This year we’ll have fifteen people for dinner so the adults and children will sit separately.  The adult Thanksgiving table is set and ready for the feast.

I used this fun {and free} printable at the center of the table…

To save some after-dinner work, we’re using paper plates and napkins.  I love these transferware-style plates and damask napkins from Hobby Lobby.  They look great sitting atop my chalkboard chargers.

My burlap runner is topped with felt leaves from World Market, and a pumpkin bowl waits to be filled with Bourbon Cranberry Compote.

Two little {not so vintage} transferware cups will be filled with olives.

I look forward to sitting down with friends and family, savoring our Thanksgiving meal, and feeling gratitude for the many blessings we have.

    Your table is beautiful, Randi! I would have never guessed those cute turkey plates were paper. Clever you to save on dishwashing. Bon appetit!
