I love the planner trend that’s so popular right now and the way planners are becoming a bit of an art form. I often use colorful washi tape to mark events in my own planner but I’ve started using these printable Post-It® Notes and Tabs and they’re perfect for back to school organization! Check them out and then download the printables to make your own planner stickers!
Since I was a kid, I’ve loved all things Post-It® and they just keep getting better and better with a broader color selection and new styles. I can’t resist stocking up when I’m shopping for school supplies at Walmart.
With five kids, keeping the family planner up to date is critical especially when a new school year is firing up. And making sure the kids are on top of the things they need is pretty important too!
These printable reminder notes are a great way to make sure the kids are organized and taking responsibility without nagging them constantly.
To print them, print the reminder notes template page …
… position your favorite Post-It® Notes over top {I hold the sheet up to a window to make it super easy} …
… and run it through the printer.
Print out a whole batch at once so you can grab them as you need them.
They’re perfect for sticking into the planner or attaching to the front door or bathroom mirror so the kids don’t walk out without the things they need! Or tuck one into a lunchbox for a midday note for your little one. Post-It® Notes stick to almost any surface, remove cleanly, and are recyclable!
If you like color and contrast in your planner like I do, durable Post-It® Flags make perfect planner stickers! They can be written or printed on and repositioned as needed.
Print out the activities template page {page one has a very simple font and page two has something a bit more fancy and fun}, lay the flags over top, making sure they lay flat on the page, and run it through the printer.
Stick the flags in your planner and write in any additional details you might need. You can color code certain events {like blue for soccer} or color code for each person … or use a random, colorful mix like I do.
I also use larger Post-It® Tabs to highlight significant upcoming events like a weekend getaway or a deadline. They can easily be removed when plans get changed or an event is over.
The flags and tabs are not only great for planners but work well for file folders and school binders too!
Post-It® products are such an easy way to add some customized flavor to your paper planner and the perfect everyday solution to stay organized all year long!
