This peach yogurt parfait is part of a sponsored post for DOLE® Fruit in Jars but all opinions are my own.

Having the kids home all summer means a lot of snacking is going on.  Can you relate?  It’s important to me to provide {and enjoy} healthy snacks that also taste great!  This four-ingredient peach yogurt parfait is delicious and healthy and so refreshing for summer!

peach yogurt parfait

To make the parfait, you’ll need DOLE® Sliced Peaches, plain greek yogurt, sliced almonds, and honey.

In a mason jar or other dish, layer a generous scoop of plain greek yogurt …

… and cover with DOLE® Sliced Peaches.  DOLE® Fruit in Jars are packed in 100% fruit juice at the peak of ripeness and are all-natural, ready-to-eat fruit that requires no cutting, peeling, or mess.  Each jar contains five fruit servings and because the jars are resealable, you can store them in the fridge and eat only what you want each day.

To finish the parfait, sprinkle with sliced almonds and drizzle with honey.

The flavor combination is fresh and delicious and this sweet snack helps us keep up with our healthy habits.  This summer, I’m trying to maintain five days a week of healthy habits.  Want to hear a few of my tips?

Monday :: Wear Off the Weekend … Monday is a great day to get the week back on track and hit the treadmill to burn off those extra weekend calories.

Tuesday :: Tear It Up in the Kitchen … Try a new, healthy recipe, eat something that you normally don’t eat, or cook one of your favorite foods in a healthier way.

Wednesday ::  Work Out With the Kids … Keeping your kids active is just as important as staying active yourself.  Take the little ones swimming, head out on a bike ride, or go for a slow jog around the neighborhood.

Thursday ::  Freshen Up the Fruit … Be adventurous and try some new fruit pairings.  Try mixing different DOLE® Fruit in Jars combinations with greek yogurt and add fun toppings like granola or toasted coconut.

Friday ::  Reward Your Work … After a successful week of healthy habits, allow yourself a small reward {a latte at the coffee shop or lunch out at your favorite restaurant}.  Just don’t go overboard!

healthy snack

Be sure to grab DOLE® Fruit in Jars the next time you’re at the grocery store.  You’ll find them in five different varieties {mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, tropical fruit, mixed fruit, sliced peaches} in the canned fruit section for a suggested retail price of $2.99 a jar.
