A Painted Personalized Napkin Dispenser

I love finding utilitarian items that have been used in restaurants or other facilities and updating them for a practical use in my own home.  A while ago, I added a tissue holder to my kids’ bathroom and now I have a fun painted napkin dispenser for all of our summer entertaining!

I bought this retired napkin dispenser at ReStore for $8.  I loved the idea of using it to hold napkins when we’re entertaining outside.  No more napkins blowing away or napkins being held down by rocks.

I taped off the front metal part of the dispenser and spray painted the rest of it orange …

… then added some fun vinyl lettering to encourage the kiddos.

… it’ll be such a fun accessory for all of our summer entertaining!

This is so fun!! I love it! The saying is perfect & the fancy napkins rock, instead of being held by rocks! 🙂 Michelle

What a cute idea! I will have to keep my eyes open for one of those. And I love that you used the patterned napkins to fill it.

I love this! I’ve seen these in thrift stores but reluctantly passed them over because I wasn’t sure where to find the right type napkins to work with them. If you don’t mind, could you tell me where you found your napkins?

Guest-style napkins fit well and you can find them even at the grocery store. Party City has a great variety of patterned ones.
