Sally (my friend from the Martha line) finally sent me the photos today. Is it warped that my heart raced so quickly when I saw the email?
Here I am standing in Sur La Table, books in hand, almost at the front of the line.
Martha is signing my book. This is during or after our brief conversation. You can see it in her face … she’s so pleased we’ve met.
This is definitely the weirdest photo I’ve ever seen of myself. I’m grabbing my book and leaving the table. I don’t know why I look like that but I don’t care. Look how close I am to Martha. And look how disappointed Martha looks to see me leaving. She can’t even look at me.
She had to carry on with the next people in line but she looks sad, doesn’t she?
It’s so good to reminisce about our time together.
I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

Oh Randi, it’s so surreal! I can’t believe you got to meet HER!!! And you don’t look uncaring in that photo. You look like you’re about to pee your pants. 🙂

Randi this is so awesome! It has been some time since I’ve been able to catch up and am thrilled I didn’t miss today! Cross it off your list girlfriend… God does promise to give us the desires of our heart. I am so happy for you.

Poor, poor Martha. I bet she’s been wondering what that delightful lady with the oh-so-cute bag in Dallas is up to ever since that day. So glad she got to meet you and spend a few seconds with you!

Are you sure these are authentic?… they look sort-of Photoshopped! lol *just kidding* I’m impressed & happy that your lifelong dream came true. The next time you see her in person, I hope you are a guest on her show! 🙂

You mean she didn’t take the time to pose for pictures? Too busy I guess! Glad you at least got to meet her and share a few sentances. So excited for you!

You are too precious. I love that. I expect that to be displayed in a very unique way in your home when I am there next. Congratulations. I feel like you are expecting twins again.

I’m jealous. Too funny on the comments with your pictures.

A friend of mine once had a T-shirt with: WWMD?

    Can you guess?

I can see the sorrow in her eyes too Randi and is that a tear I see rolling down her cheek?

I think she tried to call you – but you must have changed your number.
