Littman Brands provided me with a tour of their showroom and provided lunch but no other compensation was received. All opinions are my own. All photos in this post were provided by DCoopMedia.
For the past few days, the International Lighting Market has been taking place in Dallas. Before the market opened, I was fortunate to get a personal tour with Littman Brands, viewing the 2014 collection debut at the market. The products are the latest and greatest in lighting fashion and design.
Littman Brands includes Hudson Valley Lighting, Corbett Lighting, and Troy Lighting and each line is distinct, artistic, and unique.
David Littman, the founder and chairman of Littman Brands, gave us a personal tour of the Hudson Valley Lighting line. David is very hands-on and his excitement and passion for lighting was contagious. I loved hearing the history and the detail that goes into the Littman Brand.
The Hudson Valley line includes gorgeous pieces with beautiful detailing and various finishes including aged brass, polished nickel, and old bronze. I love seeing the refined beauty of aged brass making a comeback in decor. The workmanship in the glass alone is remarkable and I’ll likely never view a lighting fixture the same again. The Hudson Valley line is full of special details from circular links in a chain to beveled glass edges to mouth-blown flame-polished glass to custom bulbs. Each impressive detail sets the Hudson Valley line apart as a high quality lighting solution for any space.
We also had the opportunity to tour the Troy Lighting and Corbett Lighting lines with President Steve Nadell and I think I ooh-ed and aah-ed at every display.
Corbett Lighting, with its fashion-forward designs, takes lighting to a sculptural art form. The overall feeling of the fixtures is big and bold and brilliant. They are a work of art that would look perfect in the right home or in a retail, office, or hospitality setting. The fixtures reflect the latest trends in fashion, design, and lifestyle, and use materials like bias cut crystals, Japanese papers, hand-formed iron, and mother of pearl. They can only be defined as breathtaking.
But my favorite had to be the Troy Lighting line! Well known for creating sophisticated casual designs, this line has an air of whimsy that I found fun and delightful. These designs step outside the box. One chandelier is covered in bottles, one in coffee cups, and others had an industrial feel that I loved. This line is fresh, unique, and creative and would be a fun fit in any home.
My tour of the Littman Brands showroom was fun and inspirational and left me with a new appreciation for all that goes into lighting design … and possibly the desire to redo the lighting in my entire home {wink}.

Randi, Love the lights & especially the one with silverware … too cool. I actually just got a new light for my office, what I call my airplane light & it feels a lot like your 3rd photo.
