Are you ready for Halloween?  Do you go all out, decorating and making the most of this spooky holiday?  We have neighbors that often set up a haunted hallway leading up to their house and it’s always a highlight for the neighborhood kids … if they’re brave enough to go in!  Crazy lights, scary sounds, modern day technology, and Halloween pranks can turn a sheeted passageway into a whole new, very spooky world.

Do you need some inspiration to turn your own home into a frightfully fantastic flat for Halloween night?  Best Buy has five great high-tech Halloween pranks that will haunt your house and frighten your friends!  With easy to use technology from Best Buy, you can put the trick in trick or treat with a haunted mirror, human heads in jars, a haunted bathroom, toys that come to life, and frightful photos!

5 high tech halloween pranks

I love all five of those tricks {click on the link above to see them all} but my favorite is the Haunted Mirror trick.

With a few simple steps, this prank turns an old frame into a faux mirror that covers a wall-mounted TV {you could probably make it work on a TV that’s sitting on a shelf as well if you could get it to look natural enough}.  Then a simple edited video takes this fake mirror from normal to haunted in a split second.  It’s so clever and so fun … and you can adapt it to be as scary or as good-natured as you’d like, depending on the age of the friends you’ll have over.

Doesn’t that sound like a fun way to add a high tech twist to Halloween?  How are you decorating your home?
