I’m loving the gnome trend that’s everywhere this holiday season and I’m jumping in with both feet {have you seen the cute gnome pom pom cupcake toppers I made?}.  I’ve gathered some adorable gnome gift ideas, made some printable gnome gift tags that you can download, AND I have the full scoop on the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt at Cost Plus World Market!

How to Play

Have you heard of the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt at Cost Plus World Market?  If you find a Golden Christmas Cracker piece in the store, you could win a $20, $50, or $100 reward instantly!  That sure would help the Christmas list, wouldn’t it?

Every day, November 1st through November 27th, your local Cost Plus World Market store will hide eight Golden Christmas Cracker pieces throughout the store.  And each day, a clue will be shared on social media, through email, and in the store.  Use the clue to help you find the piece and you could receive a reward.  All you have to do is find the Golden Christmas Cracker piece and bring it to the nearest associate to exchange for a reward coupon worth $20, $50, or $100.  The reward is only valid on the day it’s awarded.

Limit one reward per person during the promotion period {11/1/2019-11/27/2019}, regardless of store locations visited.  Employees and designated shopper not eligible.  See terms of participation for complete details.

Day One Joke and Clue

I love that Cost Plus World Market is using Christmas Crackers this year.  Are you familiar with how they work?  Christmas Crackers are a long-standing tradition in our house and I can’t remember a Christmas when we didn’t have one at each place setting.  You yank the cardboard piece inside, it separates with a pop {or maybe a “crack”}, and then you pull out the goodies inside: a small toy or trinket, a riddle that you have to share with everyone at the table, and a paper crown that everyone wears despite how goofy you look.  Our holiday pictures show years of us wearing those silly crowns!  The tradition is so fun and festive and instantly puts everyone in a party mood.

Cost Plus World Market always has the best and largest selection of Christmas Crackers and when you find the Golden Christmas Cracker, not only will you get a $20, $50, or $100 reward, the winner will also get the paper crown, the riddle, the popping device, and the small gift or novelty item.

Each day, I’ll be sharing Cost Plus World Market’s Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt daily joke and clue at 8a CST for your chance to win. Be sure to follow me on twitter {@DukesnDuchesses} for your daily clues.  Today’s joke and clue are below.

Clue #1

Today’s Golden Christmas Cracker is hidden next to something ORANGE.
