Faith Decor in the Home

I really like decorating our home with meaningful items: trinkets from special places, heirlooms passed down from family members, and items that share our faith. I want our home to be a reflection of us and the things we love. I just added some new faith decor to our home, updating a cozy reading spot we have tucked away at the top of our staircase.

I found these items at Walmart as part of their new DaySpring Christian Celebrations line {you can find the line around the card and stationary department at Walmart stores} and I knew they’d be perfect for this space. These products are a great way to share your faith through home decor, cards, and gifts.

This little spot in our home {with its corner chair} is the perfect spot to sit with a good book, read morning devotions, or spend some time journaling and I added a few things that will make the spot even cozier. Toss pillows are a great way to add color and texture to a space and I couldn’t resist this affordable decorative pillow embroidered with one of my favorite verses.

I also added a new votive to the tabletop {candles are one of my favorite ways to add instant warmth to a space} along with a journal that’s perfect for documenting special moments, jotting down prayers, and making notes about things I’m reading.

I popped a notepad and pen into the drawer because my mind is always going a mile a minute and I like to keep a notepad nearby when I’m reading so I can jot down things that come to mind and not get distracted trying to remember everything. Does that happen to you too?

I love this quaint little corner spot and this family portrait is one of the reasons! It was drawn by one of my little girls and it’s so perfect for this space. It’s a sweet visual reminder to pray for these people I love so much.

Cozying up in this corner with a good book and a good cup of coffee is pretty near perfection in my world and I love these new mugs!

In addition to the fun style, there’s a bonus: I shouldn’t ever open the cupboard and find my favorite mug is missing. This makes it pretty clear, doesn’t it? {wink}

And the best part? The verse inside the mug is the verse we used at our wedding.

While I was finding things for this space, I also grabbed a couple of goodies to put away for a gift. There are so many times that I need a last minute gift or a little something to drop off to a friend and I love to have something put away for just that moment.

I wrapped the items with a bit of tulle and tucked them away in a drawer until an inspirational gift is needed.

I’m loving the new additions to this space and really loving that it was so affordable to add some unique items that reflect who we are.

Christian Celebrations products available at Walmart include boxed cards, home decor, wall decor, pillows, cups and mugs, keychains, stationary, Bibles, and gifts for all ages!

    I was just going through my Mary & Martha faith-based home decor to see what I wanted to put in my new Garden Room. Every home needs this wording somewhere in their home!

    Nice faith decor. It is so beautiful that you found your wedding verse inside the mug.
