Our whole family loves popsicles, especially the homemade kind.  And we absolutely adore coffee.  It only made sense to combine the two, right?  We’ve been cooling down during our current Texas heat wave with this easy cold brew popsicle recipe … and it’s the next best thing to iced coffee in a glass!

How to Make Cold Brew Popsicles

To make these cold brew popsicles, you’ll need a popsicle maker {I have a lot of different ones and they all work great so base your decision only on cute shapes [smile]}, cold brew coffee {I make cold brew almost daily with a simple cold brew maker}, and a little bit of sweetened condensed milk.

If you don’t have a cold brew maker, regular coffee will work just fine.  Just make a really strong batch and let it cool to room temperature.

In a measuring cup or small bowl, combine about 1/2 cup of cold brew with about a tablespoon or so of sweetened condensed milk.  There are no exact measurements here so just add the sweetened condensed milk until the color looks creamy and sweet enough for your tastes.

Pour the milky mixture into the popsicle mold, filling each receptacle about halfway.

Place the popsicle mold in the freezer for about 30-60 minutes or until the mixture is pretty frozen.

Once the bottom part is frozen, slowly add cold brew to fill the remaining portion of each popsicle container.

Place the popsicle mold back in the freezer and let the popsicles freeze completely.

Use a little warm water, or follow manufacturer’s instructions, to remove the popsicles from the mold.

These two-tone, two-flavor popsicles are slightly sweet on one end and nothing but coffee on the other, and they’re so delicious!

They’re the perfect way to cool down and get a little mid-afternoon pick me up during these hot summer months.

What’s your favorite way to rejuvenate on hot days?

For another coffee flavored popsicle recipe, be sure to check out these vietnamese coffee popsicles {they’re pretty similar in flavor to the cold brew popsicles but the sweetness is infused throughout}.
