Dr. Seuss Craft :: Quote on a Globe

Is there anyone in the world that doesn’t love Dr. Seuss?  His books just make me smile and I love reading them to my kids.  In honor of his upcoming birthday on March 2nd, I added a little simple Dr. Seuss decor to our gameroom.

And I’m joining Craft Lightning for their Seuss Edition … which is great news for you because it means this cute globe project can be completed in less than fifteen minutes.  Far less, actually!

All you’ll need to make this Dr. Seuss craft is a globe, vinyl and a cutting machine, and Dr. Seuss’s Oh, The Places You’ll Go! book {so you can choose your quote}.  If you don’t have the book, you can find many quotes {and probably the entire book} online.

Use your cutting machine and the vinyl to cut your favorite quote from the book … or feel free to use the one I used.

Use transfer paper to apply the quote to the globe …

… and put it in your favorite room.  Mine looks perfect in our gameroom and I’m hoping it’ll bring a little Seuss inspiration to the kids!

This is one of my favorite books, and I love the idea of putting the quote on a globe – genius!

I want to pin this stupendous idea from my phone. Why don’t you have a Pinterest button beneath the post? 🙂

I am located in the Dallas metroplex. Do you sell the transfers? I do not have a machine to cut out the images or quotes I would like to use. Or, do you have a place you can recommend for having them created? My daughter wants something similar to this for Christmas.
