Painted Glass Coasters {Martha Stewart Crafts}

I love making handmade gifts for friends and family and recently I used products to make painted glass coasters for a Mother’s Day gift.  These coasters look so beautiful but they’re very simple to make!

To make these pretty painted glass coasters, I used pre-cut beveled glass squares along with the following Martha Stewart Crafts products: glass paint liquid fill, paintable clings, and glass paint brushes.

The glass paint liquid fill comes in so many beautiful colors … I had a hard time deciding which ones I wanted to use.

I narrowed it down and then chose the paintable clings that I wanted to use.  The clings are such a neat product and really simple to paint.  I used the glass paint liquid fill to fill in the spaces and then I used the glass paint brushes to push the color right up to the edges.

When the clings were completely dry, I attached them to the bottoms of the glass coasters.  {I attached them to the bottom so the top of the coaster would remain smooth.}

With the bright colors and floral accents, the coasters look so pretty and spring-like.

Won’t they make a sweet Mother’s Day gift?

      I ordered it online from a company that sells glass for jewelry making. I can’t remember which company it was … I’m afraid you’ll have to google it. Sorry!

    These are beautiful. I love the colors. Like someone mentioned, they look like watercolors. Now I need to run out and purchase those clings. Thanks for the inspiration!

    Hello! I hope you still get this comment after all these years! Where did you get the liquid fill glass paint? I’ve been trying to buy it and I cannot find it anywhere!

      It’s from the Martha Stewart line and it was sent to me directly but I know it used to be available at craft stores. You can still buy it through amazon: http://amzn.to/2o1Vi8U {affiliate link}.

      These are special clings created to use on glass and they come with an adhesive on the bottom. Here’s the affiliate link to see what I’m talking about >>> https://amzn.to/3ofHbJF.
