DIY Monogrammed Slippers

If you love to give handmade gifts, I have a super easy idea to show you.  Whether you’re planning a gift for Mother’s Day or a special birthday, or getting ready for a spa-themed party, these DIY monogrammed slippers are just the thing!

DIY monogrammed slippers

To make these, I bought plain white slippers at the dollar store {what a steal, huh?}.  If your dollar store doesn’t carry slippers, you can probably find affordable substitutes at stores like Target and Walmart.

Using heat transfer {isn’t this patterned houndstooth heat transfer fabulous?} and a cutting machine, cut the initials of the recipient.  I cut the letters about two inches high but any size would look great as long as they fit well on the slippers.  {Don’t forget to reverse your letters before you cut.}

Using a hot iron, apply the heat transfer letters to the top of the slippers.  Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the heat transfer.

Once the letters are adhered fully to the slippers, let them cool and gift away!  These slippers make such a cute gift {and would also be a great idea for a personalized treat in your guest bedroom}.

You can make a pile of these DIY monogrammed slippers in just minutes for mere dollars … but they look like a million bucks!
