How to Make a Simple Felt Candy Corn Costume
Before you check out all the awesome costumes, let me show you how to make this simple candy corn costume! To start, you’ll need 1/2 yard of orange, yellow, and white felt. Decide how long you want your costume to be then divide that length by three. Cut each color of fabric into equal amounts to total the full length.
Sew the long ends of each strip together, yellow to orange to white.
Use a saucer or small plate to trace a hole for the face and cut it out.
Fold the front stitched piece in half and cut out a candy corn shape. Be sure you cut it wide enough that it will cover your child’s body. Cut the back in the same fashion. Stitch the edges together, leaving the bottom open and leaving openings for arm holes.
That’s it! You have a super simple, super fast candy corn costume!
