Every year I sew Christmas pajamas for the kids. They get them on Christmas Eve and then we have cute photos on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with five coordinating kids. I’ve been doing it for years and it’s a tradition that I love.
This year I decided to use up some of the fabric scraps I have from years past. I bought enough fabric to make pajama pants for Eli and Kennedy and then I mixed and matched my scraps for the others. The result is so cute!
The little girls are going to wear nightgowns this year.
I used different fabric for the bodice and the sleeves on Lila’s, and really mixed up Tate’s with different fabric on the front, the back, and the sleeves, and a little border around the bottom.
Fun buttons finish them off and add a whimsical touch.
I’m so happy with the way they turned out.
Eli, Kennedy, and Luke are all wearing simple pajama bottoms with white shirts. Eli has plain red {after all, he’s fifteen and isn’t so into coordinating pajamas, especially if they’re of the polka dot variety!} and Kennedy and Luke both have patterned bottoms with coordinating cuffs.

These are so cute!!!! I only have one small enough that will still wear Christmas Pajamas and I always bought his….now I’m kicking myself for not making some all these years. Maybe next year I’ll whine until the whole family wears matching jammies. Maybe it will work if I bribe them with cookies.
Merry Christmas, Randi, to you and your family.

Adorable tradition! I’m sew jealous (hehe!). No but really, I can’t sew….I would LOVE to have a tradition like this. Merry Christmas!!!

Amazing! I used to put the kids in matching PJs but ones that I bought at Target…I couldn’t even get organized enough this year to do that…
Merry Christmas Randi, looking forward to much more fun with you in 2013.
