Have you jumped on the succulent trend?  I’m actually riding on the plant wagon altogether, adding a lot more greenery to my home this year.  {Cross your fingers that I can keep these little guys alive!}  If you’re loving greenery too, I have a simple gift to share.  Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and this aloe vera gift idea is the perfect little goodie for your succulent-loving bestie!  And since it isn’t totally Valentine’s Day-themed, you could use it all year long to surprise anyone with a gift to brighten the day!

I’ve created the little tag for you so all you have to do is click on the link and print it out on white paper or cardstock.  Click here >>> aloe vera much printable

The printable includes a whole page of tags so simply trim the number of tags you need for all your gal pals.

You’ll also need a small aloe vera plant {you can find them almost anywhere these days including your local hardware store}, a cute seasonal container {grab something at the dollar store}, a wooden skewer to make the sign, and some coordinating washi tape or other tape.

Use washi tape to attach the skewer to the back of the tag.  You could also use a little dab of hot glue if you’d prefer.

Plant the aloe in the cute container {or just place it inside in the original pot to make it simpler} and poke the sign down into the soil, being careful not to damage the roots.

Simple as can be but so adorable, right?  What friend wouldn’t love this punny gift?

Its funny but I have lots of mini aloe vera plants in my home. I need to remember this for a future gift. Aloe Vera such a useful plant. If you break the leaf you can use the aloe on your skin. Very Pretty

Lovely! Thanks! I bought an aloe plant for my daughters favorite teacher and she was going to paint the pot. In addition to that she was going to attach a gift card. Came across your idea and got the perfect tag! Love it…. I aloe you Vera much! Was skeptical at first with the idea of getting an aloe plant as a gift!
