I’m continuing my peek back at the year.  Yesterday I shared the year’s knitting projects and today I’m reviewing the sewing projects of 2012.
sewing projects of 2012
For the kids, Kennedy sewed a felt piggy bank {with only the tiniest bit of help from me}, and I sewed Christmas pajamas, a doll carrier, a top secret spy journal {with glow in the dark letters}, piles of dolls for Tate’s birthday party, a tooth fairy doll, soccer bags, and matching dresses for Tate and her doll.

To spruce up our home, I sewed dropcloth pillows and a seamed burlap tablecloth.

I sewed a few scrappy wreath tea towels, a horse pillow, and stitched mason jar labels to give as gifts.

And I did a little special occasion sewing, making turkey shirts for Thanksgiving, a ribbon-edged table runner for Christmas, a no pinching shirt for St. Patrick’s Day, and camo shirts for Luke and Lila’s birthday.

What did you sew this year?

Hi, my name is Kelly and I can’t sew a button (shame)! But I can live through your amazing projects – especially love that cute napkin ring and those stitched mason jar covers!

What a great year! I love all of these projects. I didn’t even sew costumes this year. Although, I don’t know how to sew properly. I just wing it really.
