This vintage cupcake holder is part of a sponsored campaign on behalf of Teleflora and Millennial Blogs. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Every month brings about special birthdays and I’m often looking for a simple and personal way to celebrate the birthday of a friend, a coworker, or even a neighbor. Gorgeous flowers and a miniature cupcake in a vintage cupcake holder are the perfect answer and will make any birthday memorable.
To create a vintage cupcake holder, you’ll need two vintage jello molds. These are really easy to find at flea markets, thrift stores, and vintage shops and they’re always very reasonably priced. I rarely pay more than a dollar for each one and I have a stash of them at all times.
Place a miniature cupcake {homemade or storebought} inside the jello mold …
… and place another jello mold on top. Tie the top and bottom together with fluffy tulle and add a bow on top, tying a birthday candle into it.
Be sure the tulle is tight enough to hold the two molds together without sliding.
Add a colorful drink {attach a straw with washi tape} …
… and a bright bouquet of flowers!
The Teleflora Fun ‘n’ Festive Bouquet in the Deluxe size is the perfect choice. Arranged in a keepsake birthday mug, the flowers are a vivid mix of orange roses {my favorite color!}, red carnations, green button spray chrysanthemums, and yellow cushion spray chrysanthemums.
The bright colors will make anyone smile!
Flowers are a gift and decor all in one and add such a festive touch to any occasion.
If coworkers or friends will be sharing in the celebration, arrange a few extra cupcakes on a cake plate or in a vintage soda crate …
… then pop open the cupcake holder, light the candle …
… and celebrate! Everyone loves to feel special on their birthday!
