A Pond Party

Luke and Lila celebrated their third birthday this afternoon with a bash at Paradise Pond.
Their cute little friends came along to help them celebrate …
… and so did Grandma and Poppa.
The kids had lots of fun playing with all the different activities (dress up, a climbing wall, a play area, a bounce house, a car station …) …
… and then we met up in the party room for cake and ice cream. Since the party was held at Paradise Pond, we kept the party consistent with an outdoor pond theme. Sand buckets and frogs decorated the table in hues of blue and green …
… bug juice kept everyone hydrated …
… and bubbles and fish stickers were among the take-home goodies.
We sang happy birthday …
… and then Luke and Lila worked and worked and worked to blow out the candles.
Poppa and Grandma finally had to lean in and help extinguish the flames.
It was a fun afternoon and we loved celebrating with the other toddlers. Luke and Lila are so blessed to have such special friends.
I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

It was a great party. I think this is where I will try and have Claire’s party.

Lila is so dainty and sweet, and Luke such a handsome boy! Happy Birthday. Nice to see Pappy in a photo (and Shrek). Cute cake
