A Nature Scavenger Hunt

Today’s summer activity was a nature scavenger hunt.  Not my older kids’ favorite thing but they were great sports for the younger kids.  The kids split into boy/girl teams and took off through the neighborhood.

To my surprise, they found everything on the list …

… including a lizard!

A scavenger hunt is such an easy thing to throw together and provides lots of entertainment for the kids.

If you’d like to download our scavenger hunt list, you can find it here.

Happy hunting!

I love a scavenger hunt. When I was a kid, we always did that at my birthday parties.

Great idea! We’ll have to try this when the kids are out of school.
